LuxorMedia to develop e-learning programs for ChartOne

LuxorMedia has been selected to develop a series of e-learning programs for ChartOne, the industry leader in patient chart management. Under a collaborative agreement with ARiA Marketing, LuxorMedia will develop training programs and a training video for ChartOne employees and clients on various aspects of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA). ChartOne will use the first e-learning program to launch their national HIPAA training program in October, 2002

HIPAA specifies that by April 14, 2003, all organizations handling protected health information (PHI) must have procedures in place to meet the federal privacy guidelines for protection of patient information and mandates penalties for non-compliance. Patients also have the right to receive an accounting of disclosures of PHI and healthcare providers must provide the information within 60 days of the request. The training developed by LuxorMedia and Aria will provide ChartOne employees and clients with the information they need to comply with these new guidelines.

ChartOne solutions free healthcare organizations to focus on their core competency: patient care, not paper care.
